When I hit play to listen to a hearing, it won't play.

It seems like there may be an issue with the playback functionality of the VIQ Player program. You may need to check your settings or reach out to technical support for assistance.
I have a Philips ACC2310 foot pedal. It functions through the Philips software but when I attempt to enable it in VIQ I get an error returned stating that the foot pedal isn't detected. Any advice appreciated.

The issue could be due to compatibility or settings within VIQ. It is recommended to check the software's documentation or contact their support for assistance in troubleshooting the foot pedal detection issue.
Sometimes when using ctrl with left, right, up and down keys to navigate around my document these actions also become fixed on altering my audio balance and volume in VIQ player which obviously is really frustrating. How can I stop this?

You can try disabling any keyboard shortcuts that are mapped to audio controls in the VIQ Player settings. Alternatively, you can try using a different media player that doesn't have this issue.
I'm just testing it out because Express Scribe just upgraded and wants me to spend yet another $39.99. I have Windows 11 and VIQ seems to work just fine. I was just looking for the handy hotkeys if there are any lol.
Yes, VIQPlayer is compatible with Windows 10, although on the official website it's mentioned that works only on Windows XP and 7.
To install it, download the package, then right click the setup and select "Run as Administrator". You have to do the same when you run the product as well.
Why can't I find VIQ player on my PC as an application to associate with the audio files I download? I'm running Windows 8.1 Professional, but VIQ just isn't listed as an application on my PC, yet the icon is there on my toolbar.

I have downloaded and installed the player as well in Windows 8.1 x64 and it's working normally. You can find the application in the following directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\VIQ Player\VIQ Player. To start the player, simply launch RCPlayer.exe file located in that directory.
When I'm using my Bluetooth headphones to play audio on RC player, the sound comes from the laptop speakers rather than the headphones. Any suggestions?

You need to choose the default playback device in RC Player. Audio applications have a section where you can choose what device to use then sounds are playing.
Go to the settings of the RC Player software and choose the output mode to the device used by the Bluetooth headphones. Restart the application and PC and it should play normally this time.
Note: If other apps behave the same, access their Settings area and configure them as I recommended above.
RC Player won't load the audio. I click on the case/audio file that I am needing to play, click "Open," and then it goes back to the RCPlayer screen and nothing is loading or will load or open.

Is it possible to assign hotkeys for the playback channels to be able to isolate them using the keyboard rather than having to mouse-click?
